In honor of Pi Day, which was Sunday, March 14th, we wanted to share a favorite pie of ours to enjoy in all seasons. Here is our delicious Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie recipe for you to bake up and eat at home!
Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie
1-9” pie crust
⅔ cup of granulated sugar
1 cup of light corn syrup
2 tbsp of your favorite bourbon
3 eggs, room temp
⅓ cup melted butter
½ tsp salt
1 cup of chopped pecans
½ cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 350℉.
- Mix the first 6 ingredients together until smooth. Next, gently fold in chocolate chips and pecans.
- Bake in a preheated oven for 45 minutes or until set. If the pie gets too brown, try tenting the pie with tinfoil the last 15 minutes.
- Allow the pie to cool completely before cutting.
